If your having trouble logging in to our system, there are a few
things you might want to try before contacting Tech Support.
Important Information for AOL Users
AOL provides many services to its userstwo of which are getting your computer connected to the Internet and giving you a way to see web pages (a browser).
Feel free to use AOL to get online, but you'll find your experience of this site better and more consistent if you minimize the AOL browser and use the Internet Explorer browser on your desktop instead.
Getting Kicked Off AOL
AOL constantly monitors each person on their system to see if they are active. If they don't detect any activity for a time
they will kick you off their system to make room for another subscriber. If you use AOL to connect to the Internet
and then minimize it and work in Internet Explorer as outlined above AOL will probably consider you inactive and
may kick you off. To avoid this happening you can either periodically open AOL and click on something or you may
want to consider some third party products that keep your session with AOL active even when you are working on something
else.
Browser Version:
Our web ordering system is designed to work with Microsoft
Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. It may work with older versions of
Internet Exporer or versions of Netscape and AOL, but it is not desgined
specifically for those browsers. You can obtain the latest version of
Internet Explorer at http://www.microsoft.com/ie.
Login ID and Password:
Your ID and Password are assigned by your sales person. If you have
not signed up for online services, please contact your sales person to do so.
If you have lost or fogotten your id and/or password, please contact your
sales person or email the webmaster@northeastern.com.
Unable to Login
If you are able to view the public
side of our web site but are unable to login you may need to adjust your Internet Security
Options. Many individuals using their personal computer adjust their Security settings to
try to block some unwanted pop-ups or web content.
Please go to the menu at the top of your browser, select "Tools" > "Internet Options" > and the
"Security" tab. See if the slider bar is set above Medium. If it is, please adjust it down to Medium
then try to log into our site again. After your session with us you can then adjust the settings back
up to where you had them originally.
Other Problems:
If you still cannot access the online system, please contact
technical support by sending an email to our webmaster at webmaster@northeastern.com and we
will respond to your problem within 1 business day (Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm).
