New Changes Help Contracotors

It is not often that a manufacturer dramatically changes its philosophy in a way that helps the contractor to sell jobs and earn higher profits. That is, however, precisely what American Standard has done.

Enhanced Warranties
Effective October 1, 2001, American StandardŐs residential air conditioners and heat pumps include a ten-year compressor and spine fin coil warranty. In addition, these units also have a five-year parts warranty. This applies to 10, 12, 14, and 16 SEER split units. Also, the parts warranty on all indoor equipment was increased to five-years. This dramatic new change is competitive with the warranty of any other manufacturer in the marketplace.

R-410A Improvements
Additionally, effective November 1, 2001, American Standard began to manufacture their new R-410A equipment in 14 SEER and this product will be stocked at Northeastern by year's end. American Standard will then begin manufacturing the R-410A with 12 SEER, and finally 18 SEER, which will replace the 16 SEER. Best of all, the pricing for the units will be within 2% of current pricing.

American Standard continues to offer the best equipment in the industry and it is backed by the industryŐs best warranty. As soon as possible, Northeastern Supply will provide its customers with new literature and catalogs.
