Northeastern Acquisition Builds on Success
The Best Products & Service in the Mid-Atlantic Region
NE Welcomes New Staff & Customers to Its Family
Northeastern Supply is expanding its ability to serve customers in the Mid-Atlantic Region with its recent acquisition of four branch locations from Redlon & Johnson, a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling, water system, pipe, valves, fittings, and industrial products that is headquartered in Portland, Maine.
According to Steve Cook, Northeastern Supply President, the expansion was a great opportunity for Northeastern to strengthen its geographical coverage as it continues to serve the growing needs of customers in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.
"We are very pleased that we have been able to increase Northeastern's presence by purchasing the Hagerstown, Maryland; Carlisle and Hanover, Pennsylvania; and Winchester, Virginia, locations formerly owned by Redlon & Johnson.
Through this acquisition, we are gaining many experienced people on staff who have worked in this industry for many years," explains Cook.
Bill Pritchett, Northeastern's Regional Manager, agrees, "Like Northeastern, the staff at Redlon & Johnson is willing to do whatever it takes to satisfy their customers and help them grow their businesses.
Since the acquisition became finalized on September 24, 2001, the transition has gone relatively smooth and we are pleased with the reception that we've had from area contractors."
