Dover Branch Expands Its Operations
Larger Facility Brings MORE Products to Delmarva Peninsula
"One stop does it ALL!

The residential construction business continues to boom in Dover, Delaware, the heart of the Delmarva Peninsula. In the midst of it all is Northeastern Supply's Dover branch.

Within months of its opening, the Northeastern Dover location became a favorite stopping place on the way to job sites for area contractors in need of plumbing, heating, HVAC, water systems, and hardware items. So popular in fact, that Northeastern's management team decided to expand the operation to include a larger store, as well as a new attached warehouse that could store even more inventory.

"Northeastern decided to expand the Dover operation based on the needs of customers in this area," explains Donald Bartsch, Delmarva Regional Manager. "Construction began on March 31 and by early summer, the job was finished. It was a large undertaking and we were pleased that it was completed so quickly. Best of all, our customers are very pleased with the results—more inventory. That's what really counts!"

The Dover operation's facelift includes a new warehouse with a high ceiling to accommodate more material, including large, bulky items such as boilers, whirlpools, and water heaters. In addition, the existing building, now has all-new walls and a new "A-framed" roof to match the attached warehouse which houses the counter area and self-selection store.

"By increasing our inventory capacity, we can service our customers better and faster. We're truly a one-stop shop," adds Bartsch. "As construction continues to boom all around, contractors have found that the Northeastern store at 100 S. DuPont Highway (Route 13) can fulfill all of their plumbing, heating, and cooling product needs—as well as the hardware and tools that they need too. One stop does it ALL!"
